About the event

2024 is a momentous year for our member Real Estate Institutes as, together, we celebrate 100 years of our national body, the Real Estate Institute of Australia (REIA).

We are delighted to welcome ANZ as our Platinum Partner and to announce the ANZ REIA 100.

Together we will look to the next 100 years of real estate and celebrate excellence in our sector.

The ANZ REIA 100 will be held from 14 – 16 May 2024 in Hobart, Tasmania, hosted by the Real Estate Institute of Tasmania.

This will combine the Australasian Auctioneering Championships (AUSTROS), an exclusive REIA 100 Centennial Congress and the REIA National Awards for Excellence 2024 (NAFE 24).

Excellence and consistency of service was the central purpose for the foundation of REIA.

The ANZ REIA 100 will look to reflect, commemorate and reflect this purpose and look to how we, as a united industry, can prepare to progress this for the next 100 years of Australian real estate.

Together, let’s put REIs and their practitioners at the centre of property transactions.

Announcements

"We are so proud, as a collective of Institutes, to have been serving the Australian real estate industry for 100 years. We are similarly proud of the changes how we as an industry have progressed and evolved to be the face of modern Australia. The 1923 conference was attended by around 26 male delegates. Today, the leadership teams of our Institutes are predominantly female; and the industry boasts a 67% female workforce. We reflect the communities we work in; and believe our 44,000 strong network of small businesses is today the most diverse and multicultural in the country."
