As a regular money maestro on Channel 9's Today Show and a voice spreading financial wisdom across Australian airwaves, Effie's no-nonsense approach turns complex financial jargon into a friendly chat over a cuppa.

Not content with just adulting her way through finance, Effie penned the enlightening children's book, "The Great $20 Adventure," and the empowering guides “Ditch the Debt and Get Rich” and, "A Real Girl’s Guide to Money.” 

Before casual money talk was cool, Effie was the editor of Money magazine, paving the way to financial enlightenment since its inception in 1999.

Now rocking the role of Chief Content Officer and money expert at InvestSMART, one of Australia's leading robo advisers, and proudly waving the flag as Canstar's ambassador, Effie continues to help Aussies make the most of what they have.

Fuelling her passion for financial literacy, Effie sits on the board of directors for Ecstra, a not-for-profit powerhouse dedicated to boosting the financial savvy of all Australians within a fair financial system.

She holds a Bachelor of Economics Degree from the University of Queensland.
